Top pan-India superstar Prabhas leads the anticipated period drama Fauzi, directed by #SitaRamam maker Hanu Raghavapudi and produced by Mythri Movie Makers—the acclaimed studio behind the massive Pushpa franchise. The film is set for a worldwide theatrical release on December 3, 2026.

The superstar is now gearing up for another ambitious chapter with Fauzi, a period drama that promises to showcase him in a fierce, intense and never-seen-before avatar. The makers recently unveiled an impressive glimpse featuring a blood-soaked Prabhas holding a gun, instantly creating a storm across the internet and amplifying anticipation for his big-screen arrival.

As the anticipation to see him continues to grow, Fauzi, which also marks the Telugu debut of acclaimed cinematographer DoP Sudeep Chatterjee, known for films like Guzaarish, Dor, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat, recently praised Prabhas. He highlighted that Prabhas’ honesty shines through the lens and is a major reason why audiences love him so deeply.

Fauzi marks Prabhas’ return to a grand Period Drama epic after Baahubali, promising an emotional and visually breathtaking cinematic experience. Touted as the most ambitious film ever from Mythri Movie Makers, this project brings together an extraordinary team: Prabhas x Mythri (Pushpa Makers) x Hanu (Sita Ramam Director), a collaboration being celebrated as “a union of generations” in Indian cinema.

Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, Fauzi is made under the production of Mythri Movie Makers and presented by Tseries Films. The film is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar & Bhushan Kumar. The film will be released worldwide on 3rd December, 2026.
