78th Emmy Awards to Stream Exclusively Live on JioHotstar in India!

It is time to roll out the red carpet and celebrate the stars, stories, and performances that have defined the year as the biggest names in television gear up for the 78th Emmy Awards, which will be exclusively streamed live on JioHotstar in India!

The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on September 14, 2026, in the United States, allowing Indian viewers to catch the action live during the early hours of September 15 starting at 4:30 AM IST (Red Carpet at 4:30 AM IST; Main Awards at 5:30 AM IST). The ceremony will also be made available as Video-On-Demand (VOD) following the live stream.

This year, HBO’s acclaimed medical drama The Pitt leads the nominations list with an outstanding 25 nods. Following closely as the second most-nominated series is Hacks with 24 nominations, setting a brand-new record for the most Emmy nominations ever received by a comedy series. Both titles are available for streaming on JioHotstar.

Other top contenders at the 2026 Emmy Awards that are available on the platform include:

DTF St. Louis – 17 nominations

The Bear – 15 nominations

All Her Fault – 15 nominations

The Gilded Age – 13 nominations

Abbott Elementary – 10 nominations

Only Murders in the Building – 10 nominations
