To mark the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the team behind the epic Ramayana released ‘Jai Jai Ram’—a magnum opus musical piece composed by #ARRahman, written by #Dr.KumarVishwas, and brought to life through the soulful vocals of #ArijitSingh and #ShreyaGhoshal.
#Ramayana is shaping up to be one of the grandest cinematic spectacles ever envisioned in Indian cinema. Billed as a two-part epic, the film has already created immense buzz across the country and overseas, with a celebrated ensemble cast and an acclaimed creative team coming together for the ambitious project. After months of anticipation, the makers recently dropped the much-awaited trailer, which received a phenomenal response and created a historic moment in Indian cinema.
The recently released, A soulful invocation of Shri Ram, ‘Jai Jai Ram’ combines the spiritual character of an aarti with a cinematic sound. Its lyrics reflect Shri Ram’s compassion, protection and adherence to dharma, while the repeated invocation gives the song its devotional core.
