An Unseen Force Lurks Behind Every Death: New Poster of ‘Mrutyuchakra’ Released!

Birth and death are the two undeniable realities of human existence. In Indian philosophy, death is not considered the ultimate end, but a part of the eternal cycle of birth, death and rebirth. According to the principles of karma, every action influences one’s life and may also shape the journey that follows. The attainment of liberation from this cycle is known as moksha.

The title ‘Mrutyuchakra’ reflects this deeper philosophical idea. Rather than focusing solely on the fear of death, the upcoming Marathi film explores themes of karma, destiny, rebirth, supernatural forces and the unanswered mysteries of life. Combining horror, suspense and human emotions, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 23. The makers have now unveiled a new poster, adding to the growing anticipation around the project.

Presented by Shri Mahadev Film Production and produced under the banner of Adhyansh Motion Picture, ‘Mrutyuchakra’ is produced by Pranali Unmesh Waghmode. Vilas Waghmode and Anuprita Kadu-Gangawane have directed the film.

The poster offers a glimpse into the film’s dark and mysterious world. At its centre is an ancient wheel with what appears to be a reddish planet or moon at its core. The faces of several characters surround the wheel, suggesting that each one may be connected to a separate story, hidden truth or unresolved mystery.

The temple-like structure in the background, the shadowy visual tone and the striking line, **‘Behind Every Death Lies an Invisible Shadow…’**, intensify the suspense. One side of the poster features a hospital setting, while the other evokes an eerie and supernatural atmosphere. This contrast hints at a possible clash between modern medicine and unexplained forces. The film may revolve around the mystery behind a series of deaths and the invisible power associated with them.

The cast includes Shashank Shende, Akshaya Gurav, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Aastad Kale, Varsha Dandale, Kritika Tulsakar, Sanika Banaraswale, Sanjay Shejwal, Shalaka Gade, Shara Gaikwad, Jitendra Pol and Anil Rabale, along with several other actors.

Dr. Sudhir Nikam has written the story, while the screenplay and dialogues have been penned by Vilas Waghmode and Dr. Sudhir Nikam. Rohan Shah serves as the Creative Producer.

Jayesh Mistry’s UJM Networks & Entertainment LLP will distribute the film across Maharashtra. Nishant Bhagwat is the Director of Photography and Rahul Bhatankar is the editor. Kedar Divekar has composed the music and background score, while Valay Mulgund has written the lyrics. The songs have been performed by Suhas Sawant and Shamika Bhide.

Mayur Pawar is the Production Designer, with Kunal Vedpathak handling the Art Direction. Kirti Jangam Joshi is the Costume Designer, while Santosh Gaikawad is responsible for the Makeup.
