‘Dashmi’ to Unfold the Heartwarming Bond Between a Father and Daughter!

Actors Makarand Anaspure and Gauri Ingawale portray the characters of Prabhakar and Laxmi, whose father-daughter relationship forms an emotional core of the film. Presented by KNK Box, ‘Dashmi’ is an upcoming Marathi film set to release in October. The film is directed by Yogesh Pandurang Bhosale.

Putting his own dreams aside, Prabhakar spends his entire life working hard to fulfil his daughter Laxmi’s dream of becoming a doctor. Laxmi, a sensitive medical student, understands her father’s sacrifices and embraces his dream of seeing her become a doctor as her own.

Talking about his role, Makarand Anaspure says, “Playing Prabhakar gave me the opportunity to experience the deep love and relentless struggle of a father for his daughter. Portraying a father who remains strong in front of his daughter while silently breaking down within was an emotionally moving journey for me.”

Gauri Ingawale shares, “The relationship between Laxmi and her father is very simple yet deeply touching. Laxmi is aware that her father’s sacrifices are behind every dream she has. So, portraying her love for her father, their emotional closeness, and the way her world changes after facing a difficult situation was a deeply emotional experience for me.”
