Aafiya Sayed Pens a Heartfelt Gratitude Note Reflecting on Her Cinematic Journey in Prem Keetanu!
Debutante Aafiya Sayed Shares Unseen BTS Moments from Prem Keetanu and Expresses Appreciation for Director Apoorv Singh Karki, Producer Gaurav Verma, and Co-Star Aparshakti Khurana
Aafiya Sayed is taking a moment to share warm glimpses from the first day of bringing Prem Keetanu together. From the wholesome BTS clicks to her experience of working alongside her co-stars, director, and producer, Sayed bares it all in a heartwarming gratitude post.
Aafiya thanks director Apoorv Singh Karki for placing belief in her. A part of her note reads, “My life changed the day I met you. You believed in me more than anyone ever has. You’re known for your incredible directorial abilities, but in you, I found a confidant & an older brother. You really walked us through this whole process, we had you to fall back on, no matter what. I cannot imagine how immensely pressurising that must be. Yet, you met us with only patience and kindness. You were passionate even at the tail end of a 16 hour shift, you held us all together like magic glue, truly, you made all of it feel like a party. You made us laugh till our stomach hurt and yet directed us through the emotions and vulnerability with just as much ease.”
She further thanks producer Gaurav Verma for betting on her. “Thank you for betting on me. You often tell me that I should have a good mentor. I’ve never said it to you before, but everytime you speak of a mentor, only your name rings in my head. You’ve shown me direction, given me the toughest of tough love :p but most importantly you gave me a platform. You gave me the opportunity to fulfill a life long dream. You fixated on each detail, you made sure we were our best. Your validation means more to me than you know and it’s been my secret endeavour to make you proud,” she writes.
The actress took a moment to pen a note for co-star Aparshakti Khurana, describing him as someone who lit up the set everyday. “Gagan se bhi ucha tera pyaar hai!🥰 my jeet!!!! You lit up everyday on our set. Humming songs, eating the best food & making all of this feel like play. Everywhere i go, people ask how it was to work with you! And all I say, is “solid”. Thank you for all that warmth, for encouraging me in ways you weren’t even aware of. We must jam again soon, I never got to sing that duet with you.”
In the post, Aafiya Sayed thanks the entire team of Prem Keetanu, the spine of the film, for making the success that the film has become today. With Prem Keetanu, Aafiya Sayed has placed herself as a promising fresh face in Hindi cinema, winning hearts with honesty in her debut film. While she continues to win hearts with her believable performance, the audience is curious to know more about what she has in store next!
