Actor Sushant Shelar takes initiative for village development!
Commitment to social responsibility while pursuing development
Actor Sushant Shelar, who is active in the fields of entertainment, politics, and social work, constantly strives for new initiatives and socially oriented work. Now, by taking an important initiative for the holistic development of villages in Ratnagiri district, he recently met Guardian Minister Uday Samant along with local representatives. Various development proposals were presented during this meeting.
At this time, there was detailed discussion about the overall development of Sangave village in terms of roads, water supply, sanitation, and other basic facilities. The proposal includes several essential works such as removing silt from the Saptalingi river and reviving it, constructing a multipurpose hall, building a safe ghat for Ganesh idol immersion, installing streetlights in the village, and asphalting the road leading to the river. Notably, these initiatives also prioritize environmental conservation and pollution control, with a special focus on cleaning the river and preserving the surrounding area.
With the objective of following up on these development works, Sushant Shelar met Minister Uday Samant, Yogesh Kadam, Sanjay Rathod, and Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Tai Gorhe. During this meeting, there was a positive discussion about the proposed works, and the dignitaries assured that necessary measures would be taken.
Speaking about this, Sushant Shelar said, “Our main objective is that every citizen in the village should have access to good facilities, and that safety and convenience should improve. At the same time, preserving the environment and creating a pollution-free locality is equally important. Follow-up at the government level for Sangave’s development is underway, and the honourable ministers have responded positively. In the coming period, our focus will be on completing all these development works speedily and ensuring the holistic development of the village.”
The delegation included Mr. Narendra Shelar (Vice President, Sangave Samaj Seva Sangh), Mr. Anil Shelar (Secretary), Mr. Sanjay Shelar (Treasurer), Mr. Sanjay K. Shelar (Member), Mr. Dinesh Shelar (Member), Mr. Devdatt Shelar (Former Sarpanch), and Mr. Vishwas Shelar (Deputy Sarpanch).
This initiative being taken at the local level for village development is praiseworthy, and there is a growing feeling that the proposed works will bring great relief to the residents of the area.
