The name Neeraj Pandey and the theme patriotism are enough to get attention.
Abhay Singh (Bajpayee) is a dutiful Colonel, trying to hunt down his brightest
protégé Jay Bakshi (Malhotra) who has ditched the team at the risk of being a
national traitor.
What Works
Every single frame with Manoj Bajpayee; who makes the dialogues sound
better and every action look natural, is a pleasure to watch. Other supporting
artists also manage to do well. The scam revelation and theme of the movie are
relevant.
What Doesn’t Work
Even though the script is loose, the background score reused from Baby and
production values are strictly average – it's still more bearable than watching
Siddharth Malhotra. Other underwhelming aspect of the movie are its length,
forced romance and wannabe international terrorist theme.
Verdict
Even understanding the meaning of the title is a waste of time, let alone the
movie.
