Stepping into a new phase of Sai Baba’s life, Mere Sai that has taken a leap will now showcase the dawn of a new era over Shirdi. With the emergence of industries and technologies, #Shirdi is moving towards a semi-urban lifestyle which has opened doors to outsiders and changes. With the industrialization, there will be a rise in progress which in turn will bring about balance, change and prosperity. And, it is #SaiBaba (Tushar Dalvi) who will be the beacon that will teach everyone the art of balance between progress and change and how one should incorporate these values in their lives.
Acing numerous roles across television, films and OTT, actor Anuj Sharma will be seen essaying the role of Sharad in Mere Sai’s leap phase. The actor himself is a strong believer in Sai Baba and is very thrilled to be a part of one of the longest-running shows on Sony Entertainment Television. Shedding light on his character, Anuj shares, “My character Sharad is a very positive man with a pure heart. He is a family person who wants to give his family all the happiness and luxury. He is very close to his son and dreams of sending him to Mumbai (then Bombay) for his higher education. But Sharad thinks that earning money is the only way to provide a better life for his family. He works day in and out, without giving his family any time. He is unaware of the fact that time is the biggest treasure. Will he be able to understand it before it’s too late?”
Talking about his experience with Tushar Dalvi who essays the role of Sai Baba, Anuj adds, “It is a delight to work with Tushar ji. He is very down-to-earth and warm and welcoming. When you look at him you actually feel as if the real Sai Baba is standing in front of you. I am really looking forward to this new journey with Mere Sai.”
