#AshokShekar, son of veteran actor late #Chandrashekhar, has been in the entertainment industry for about five decades and is a respected name in the tinsel town. He, recently, entered 50th year in the entertainment field and celebrated the same with his close circle of friends and media persons with whom he has cordial relations for many years. Mr #JugrajJain, a reputed name in the realty sector and Mr #RonnieRodrigues head honcho of #PearlGroupOfCompanies and owner of film glossy #CineBuster were special guests at the function. Senior journo’s like #RiteshTripathi, #LipikaVarma, #Shama, #ShantiswaroopTripathi, #IndermohanPannu were present on the occasion. Mr #RamakantMunde, Chief Executive (Celebrities Coordination) and Mr #KeertiKadam, editor, Cine Buster too graced the occasion. Choicest of drinks and variety of food flowed to make the evening memorable.
Mr Ashok Shekar started his career way back in 1973 with late Shakti Samanta and was the Production Head for the films, Ajnabee, Anurodh, Khwaab, Aamne Saamne, Ayaash, Barsaat Ki Ek Raat, Mei Awara Hoon. He then moved onto BR Films as an Assistant Director for films Awaam and Dehleez. He worked with TuTu Films as a production head for films like Mar Milenge, Daav Pech, Amiri Garibi, Bhutacha Bhau. Ashok Shekhar then shifted his focus on southern film industry and was into talent coordination for producers T Rama Rao, K Raghvendra Rao, K Bapaiya and many more.
Ashok Shekhar is an expert in organising Celebrity events and has successfully put in order many shows in India as well as abroad. He conducts the official Dadasaheb Phalke Awards and who’s who from the film and television industry attend the same. Going with the changing times Ashok Shekar has forayed into production of web series and couple of them titled Minus Degree Love Story and Kal Kya Hoga Kisko Pata will soon stream on a reputed OTT platform. He’s producing Television shows with UTV like Parivartan, Shagun, Cats, Sarhedein and a few more. He, along with his investor friends like Jugraj Jain, also has started funding approved reputed channel shows.
Currently he has taken the responsibility of being a member of Advisory Panel of Ronnie Rodrigures’ Cine Buster Cine Awards to be held abroad on 18th September 2022.
