The daring and bold posters of ‘Shikari’ challenged the conservative sensibilities of movie buffs. Its teaser released recently has further heightened curiosity among the film fraternity, especially as the movie is presented by Mahesh Waman Manjrekar and is directed by Vijay Mane. Mahesh Manjrekar is known for presenting films with different story angles and out-of-box thinking. No wonder then that Marathi movie patrons are wondering if ‘Shikari’ is a laugh riot, a sex comedy or a serious social drama. Neha Khan is playing a key role in the film which is produced by Vijay Patil of Aryan Global Entertainment. While she has previously worked in the South film industry, Neha is a newbie to the Marathi films. Neha will surely be raising the temperature this summer. Also seen with her in one of the posters is Siddharth Jadhav. The remaining star-cast is not yet disclosed. ‘Shikari is all set to release this 20th of April 2018.
