The Daayra trailer has clearly struck a chord with Bollywood, with several top stars taking to social media to cheer for Meghna Gulzar’s latest directorial effort. From calling the stellar cast a “powerhouse” to praising the filmmaker’s signature balance of “strength and sensitivity,” the film fraternity is already buzzing about the upcoming crime thriller!

Alia Bhatt, who previously collaborated with the National Award-winning director on Raazi, shared the trailer with a crisp and telling caption: “THIS cast + my favourite director… say no more.” Vicky Kaushal, who led Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur, praised her ability to masterfully explore “a world of blurred lines” and expressed his eagerness to witness the intense screen clash between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
