Brad Pitt Praises Four-Legged Co-Star Odin in Heart of the Beast Featurette: “He’s the Star of the Film”

Paramount Pictures releases a exclusive behind-the-scenes look where Brad Pitt reflects on his “special experience” sharing the screen with his German Shepherd co-star ahead of the film’s September 2026 premiere

Following the thrill of the initial trailer, Paramount Pictures has released a brand-new behind-the-scenes featurette for Heart of the Beast, offering audiences an insider’s look at the heart of the action-packed survival story. The featurette focuses on the deep bond between #BradPitt and Uber, the German Shepherd portraying his loyalty-bound companion Odin. The 62-year-old actor speaks fondly of what he calls a “special experience” filming alongside his canine partner, jokingly crowning Uber as the true star of the project.

After a harrowing plane crash, Special Forces officer James Belmont (Brad Pitt) and his combat dog, Odin, find themselves stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness.
