’Captain India’ Set to Take Off: Kartik Aaryan Starrer Kicks Off Production in London on September 1!

One of the most anticipated cinematic ventures, Captain India, headlined by Kartik Aaryan, is officially commencing its principal photography on 1st September 2026 in London, with the initial filming schedule planned through late October. The project marks the directorial return of Shimit Amin, the acclaimed filmmaker behind iconic and enduring classics like Chak De! India.

Produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Baweja Studios in association with Dopamine Studios and produced by S B Films, together a compelling team brings an action drama inspired by the true events of India’s courageous evacuation mission in a war-torn country, the project promises to be an ambitious and emotionally charged experience.

Amongst the other details on Captain India, alongside Kartik Aaryan, the film is expected to star an ensemble cast, further adding anticipation to the growing buzz around the project. The film is written by Nash Vazifdar, Sanchit Gupta and Priyadarshee Shrivastava.

The film is set to release on 13th August 2027, Independence Day weekend.
