Avengers: Doomsday is all set to introduce a new villain: Doctor Doom. The comic supervillain will be brought to life by Robert Downey Jr, marking his return to Marvel Cinematic Universe and his first role in the universe after Iron Man’s death. While fans are curious to see how the actor and the character reshape the future of MCU, Josh Brolin has opened up about Marvel Studios’ newest villain.

The actor, who essayed the iconic role of Thanos in several MCU films including Avengers Endgame: Encore, was asked to share his thoughts on a possible Thanos and Doctor Doom crossover. Brolin said that while he would love to be in that situation with Downey Jr. “Having been in that situation with Robert (Downey Jr), in that scenario, I would love a different scenario. I would love it. It would be great. And who wouldn’t want to see it?” he said.

He was then asked if he thinks Thanos could take down Doctor Doom. “Dude, does it matter what I say at this point? Leave the mystery. Embrace the mystery,” he said.

Brolin’s Thanos died in the events of Avengers: Endgame, which released in 2019, which was directed by Russo Brothers. The director duo is now gearing to set up another supervillain in the MCU with Avengers: Doomsday. Set to release on 18th December, the film will release in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
