MUMBAI, India—September 18, 2026—Prime Video, India’s leading streaming platform for exclusive Originals, has officially slated October 1, 2026, for the global launch of the second season of its popular Hindi Original series, Dupahiya. Returning to the quirky and no longer crime-free fictional town of Dhadakpur, the comedy-drama brings back its blend of innocence, humor, and small-town quirkiness, introducing fresh dilemmas that promise more chaos and laughs. Directed by Sonam Nair, Dupahiya season two is created and produced by Salona Bains Joshi and Shubh Shivdasani under the banner of Bombay Film Cartel LLP, and created and written by Avinash Dwivedi and Chirag Garg. Following the success of its debut installment, the new season brings back ensemble cast members Gajraj Rao, Renuka Shahane, Sparsh Shrivastava, Bhuvan Arora, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Yashpal Sharma, while adding Dinesh Lal Yadav (Nirahua) to the line-up. Dupahiya season two will release exclusively on Prime Video across India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide on October 1, 2026.
