‘Gana Dhav Re’ Begins Filming with Siddhivinayak’s Blessings!

Director #KedarShinde, known for blending meaningful storytelling with cultural sensitivity and emotional nuance, is gearing up to deliver a spiritually resonant cinematic experience. Presented by B‑Live Productions, the upcoming Marathi film Gana Dhav Re explores devotion, humanity, tradition and the power of faith. The film’s shoot has officially commenced in a devotional atmosphere.

To mark the start of production, the entire team visited Mumbai’s renowned Siddhivinayak Temple to seek Lord Ganesha’s blessings and pray for the film’s success. With heads bowed in reverence, the cast and crew inaugurated filming — a moving moment made especially poignant by the project’s close ties to faith and devotion. Director Kedar Shinde was joined by actress Pranali Ghogare and actors Ashutosh Gaikwad and Omkar Patil for the ceremony.

Set against the picturesque, cultural and spiritual backdrop of the Konkan, Gana Dhav Re follows the extraordinary journey of an ordinary devotee. The story brings to life steadfast belief in Lord Ganesha, village traditions, festivals, and the collective emotional landscape of rural communities. It examines how faith gives people strength to face crises, supports their emotions, and reshapes their outlook on life.

Balancing imagination with realism, the film subtly explores the invisible but powerful bond between devotee and deity. Authentic depictions of Konkan village life, traditional practices, local beliefs and communal sentiment enrich the narrative and lend the film an earthy, genuine feel. As a result, Gana Dhav Re aims to be more than entertainment: it seeks to offer audiences a heartfelt, spiritual and emotional experience that uncovers new layers of devotion and humanity.
