‘HM Cinema’

‘HM Cinema’ Inaugurated by Marathi Superstar Ankush Chaudhari!

A new and state-of-the-art entertainment destination is now ready for moviegoers in Dadar, the cultural and cinematic heart of Mumbai. Located on Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Road in Dadar East, the iconic Hindmata theatre has undergone a transformation over the years—from ‘Hindmata’ to ‘Hindmata Gold’—and has now been reimagined as ‘HM Cinema’ or Hindmata H.M. Cinema.

Situated on the second floor of Kumar Fun Shop, the newly renovated theatre was inaugurated with great enthusiasm by Marathi film superstar and style icon #AnkushChaudhari.
The grand opening ceremony was attended by several prominent personalities from the film industry, members of the media and local movie enthusiasts. HM Cinema offers audiences a modern sound system, high-quality digital screens and extremely comfortable seating, promising an enhanced cinematic experience.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ankush Chaudhari said, “Dadar is the heart of Mumbai’s culture and its love for cinema. I am extremely happy and proud to see this iconic venue—first known as Hindmata, then as Hindmata Gold—reopen in a modern avatar as HM Cinema. Today’s audiences expect excellent sound, visuals and a comfortable ambience when they visit a theatre. I am confident that HM Cinema will fulfil all these expectations. My heartfelt wish is that Marathi films, as well as films in every language, continue to receive an overwhelming response from audiences.”

The theatre’s owner, Sanket Patil, said, “Our primary objective is to offer audiences the finest cinematic experience. We are extremely proud to carry forward the legacy that began with Hindmata and launch HM Cinema in a central and historically significant part of Dadar. We have placed special emphasis on modern technology, high-quality screens and comfortable seating. Starting this new journey at the hands of superstar Ankush Chaudhari is a great honour for us. We invite all movie lovers to visit HM Cinema and enjoy the magic of films.”
