After the suspicious death of an prominent actor, there was a huge argument around ‘Insider-Outsider’ targeting nepotism in the film industry. Ravi Sudha Choudhary exactly knew that when he was foraying into films after quitting a fat-cheque salary in a Pharmaceutical firm. His sight always was on acting and when he had enough of corporate world, he quit to enter entertainment industry. He had an idea that if he wants a break in films he’ll need to ‘struggle’ for quite some time. So Ravi decided to give a break to himself. He formed a production house named ‘Rudransh Entertainment’ and started producing films and acting in it. Though his marketing experience helps him running his production house.
Ravi Sudha Choudhary’s latest outing ‘Sitapur The City Of Gangster’ is ready for release. He hails from Purnia district of Bihar. Sitapur The City Of Gangster has been produced under the banner Rudransh Entertainment by Ravi Sudha Choudhary who also plays a lead in it. It’s story is revolving around suspense, romance, politics, conspiracy, revenge, deception and gang war. Sitapur of Uttar Pradesh was once infamous for stories of political conspiracy, gang war and deceit. Films’ director and Ravi, both, researched on this topic so that they can give a different flavour to this subject, though the story of the film is not based on any real person or incident. Gaurav Kumar, who plays an antagonist in the film and Ravi, who plays protagonist, are staunch enemies on screen but are thick friends off screen. Again there friendship keeps flourishing as both of them have done almost half a dozen movies together.
‘I was aware how difficult it is to get a proper break in films in Hindi film industry. I have seen good actors going into oblivion without getting a break. I did not want it to happen it to me. Again my production house gives chance to deserving talent, especially from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Because I know how difficult it is for actors from interiors of India to get a proper break in films. I am happy that I am in a position to give wings to many actor’s dreams. Vinod Kumar is a trained actor from IPTA and that’s the reason he’s in this film and not because he’s a friend. The two girls from ‘Sitapur’, Aparna Malik is from Bihar and Aanchal Pandey is from Uttar Pradesh are making a debut and like I said earlier I would like to give chances to everyone who is deserving’, said Ravi Sudha Choudhary. Ravi Sudha Choudhary has played lead in films like, ‘Lafange Nawab’, ‘Shringar – Kashi To Kashmir’, ‘Shashank’ etc and ‘Sitapur The City Of Gangster’ is getting released very soon on MX player OTT platform.
Ravi is a multi-faceted personality. He’s an actor, he’s a successful producer and he’s a very good singer too. He idolises Sonu Nigam and calls him his ‘Dronacharya’. In fact he looks a shadow of Sonu Nigam. Ravi tries to give playback in his films if his voice suits the song. ‘I don’t insist on singing just because I am the producer of the film. But I am happy my songs are always well received’, admits Ravi.
