Recently, newlywed couple #JackkyBhagnani and #RakulPreetSingh visited India’s new Parliament building in Delhi and they took a moment to express their excitement and experience.
Jackky Bhagnani couldn’t contain his excitement, saying, “As soon as I entered, it was 100 times better than I could imagine. I can’t believe that our parliament can’t also look like this. We get so used to things being the way they are, and to even have this new building is commendable. Like we say in Hindi ‘Ye toh abhi teaser hai, picture abhi baki hai’.”
Rakul Preet Singh was equally impressed, stating, “I was completely wowed and blown away. From the constitution book to the Vedas, Ramayan, Mahabharata to the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Our culture and the values of India are combined with new age technology in the new parliament building. Kudos to the Honourable Prime Minister and his progressive vision because of which this was possible. You get something from each state in different galleries, and that’s very heartwarming. In the last ten years, the way he has positioned India globally, and how there is global interest in India suddenly because people think this is the hub where for the next ten years we are going to flourish.”

The couple, who shared glimpses of their visit on social media, were visibly moved by the mix of India’s rich heritage and modern technology within the new Parliament building. We look forward to more of their endeavours.
