“Learn to Laugh at Yourself!”: Sanjeeda Shaikh Reflects on Joining the Chaos of ‘Dhamaal 4!’
With Dhamaal 4 just days away from hitting theatres, the excitement around the franchise has reached an all-time high. Introducing fresh energy to the chaos with new cast members Anjali Anand and Sanjeeda Shaikh, the film sends the classic gang on their wilder, bigger treasure hunt yet. Ahead of its grand release, Sanjeeda opened up about stepping into director Indra Kumar’s madcap universe and the ultimate comedy lesson she took home from the set.
Speaking about joining the world of Dhamaal in its fourth installment and her biggest takeaway from doing a comedy film, Sanjeeda Shaikh shared, “My reaction was pure excitement. I am glad DHAMAAL happened to me because as a film it’s a loved legacy and franchise for audiences from the age of 5 to 95 years. I am also very grateful to work with Indra sir because Ishq is one of my all-time favorite commercial comedy films that he directed, so this felt surreal.”
She further added, “To make people laugh is a massive responsibility. If you achieve that, it’s a very special feeling as an actor. That was my biggest takeaway—if you can laugh at yourself, you can make others laugh, and the entire cast embodied that on set. Honestly, that’s what creates great comedy and great chemistry, which people will get to witness in Dhamaal 4.”
Promising a rib-tickling entertainer for audiences of all ages, Dhamaal 4 brings together a powerhouse ensemble cast featuring Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Sanjay Mishra, along with Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan.
Dhamaal 4 is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, in association with Devgn Films, a T-Series Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios production. Dhamaal 4 is directed by Indra Kumar and produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak. Dhamaal 4 releases in cinemas this Friday, 10th July 2026.
