Megastar Amitabh Bachchan Gets Himself Home Quarantine Stamp
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been taking to his social media to inform his fans about the COVID-19 disease. He has also been roped in by UNICEF and Indian Health Ministry to spread awareness about the disease. The Sholay actor has been urging his fans to stay safe and maintain hygiene to battle the virus. The actor has now shared a picture of what the home quarantine stamp started by the Maharashtra government looks like on his social media handle.

 

Bachchan wrote, ” Stamping started on hands with voter ink, in Mumbai .. keep safe, be cautious, remain isolated if detected..”

The Maharashtra government has decided to stamp people getting home quarantine for suspected exposure to the novel coronavirus. The government had clarified that the idea of stamping someone’s hand was done after complaints came in that people who are supposed to be in home quarantine were out in the public, meeting people.

Earlier, Big B had shared an informative video on how to combat coronavirus and wrote a poem on it. Meanwhile, power couple Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja have self-quarantined as a precautionary measure after returning from London. They also lauded the airport authorities for screening all travellers to detect if anyone is a virus carrier. Singer Anup Jalota has also been quarantined at home in Mumbai.

 

In India, a total of 147 cases have been tested positive of the novel coronavirus. 122 are Indians and the rest 25 are foreign nationals. In Maharashtra, 41 people have been tested positive and one person died due to COVID-19 in the state.
