#NitinnRMiranni is happy with all the appreciation being showered upon his acting venture #TheElephantInTheRoom. The actor portrays the character of Arya in the short film that is being directed by #KrishanHooda, presented by #AlterEgoProduction, and produced by Aartie Miranni and Prakash Moolani. Daisy Shah, Viraf Patell, Salonie Patel, Pratiksha Sen, Akanksha Pandey and Sankalp Joshi, also star in the project that was released on YouTube.
“We are very happy and overwhelmed with the amazing response pouring in. Even at the screening we had everyone loving the film. We are also super excited with the film hoardings all over the city. So far even on YouTube the film has only likes and zero dislikes. So I hope it stays that way. Ganpati Bappa Morya!” he adds with a smile.
Soaking the Ganesh Chaturthi fervor, the actor is happy that the film was released at the right time. “The timing of how everything fell into place was a beautiful coincidence. It was honestly like Ganpati ji himself said “Meri film hai toh mein be decide kar liya hai ke Ganpati Utsav mein hi release hogi” and the rest is history,” he continues, “Aartie, Prakash Moolani and I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who is showing the film so much love and giving us constructive feedback to improve. A special mention to PNB housing Finance and Bright Media Outdoor for supporting and believing in “The Elephant In the Room”, currently streaming on the HumaraMovie YouTube channel.”
Many viewers are expecting a sequel. “In the film Gannu ji himself says “Ho sakta hai Agle saal aapke ghar Aaon” so we are definitely looking at the possibility of a sequel or even a series,” he confirms.
Talking more about their future plans, he adds, “We are already in talks with production houses and talent for our next. Ideally we would now like to do a web series and both Aartie and I have written some amazing scripts. So I’m looking forward to announcing our next soon.”
