#SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s homegrown kids’ singing reality show, ‘#SuperstarSinger3’, has charmed audiences with its brilliant display of young singing talent from across the country. This weekend, in the ‘Shreemati Special ’ episodes, the contestants will honor women achievers across different fields including Kalbeliya Folk Dancer & Padmashree Gulabo Sapera, Nirmala ji Papad Wali, and Indian Navy veteran, Commander Prabha Lall among others. The stellar star cast of ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’ – Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi will also come in as special guests to raise the entertainment quotient of this musical extravaganza.
A versatile singer, Rajdeep Gosh from Howrah, West Bengal will once again amaze everyone with a power-packed performance of the song ‘Zindagi Ka Safar’ from the movie ‘Safar’, alongside his team captain Pawandeep Rajan, earning accolades from everyone. Coming to support Rajdeep will be the Kalbeliya Folk Dancer & Padmashree Gulabo Sapera, whose remarkable journey was honored on the show. Born into a nomadic family in Rajasthan, Gulabo Sapera overcame unimaginable odds to emerge as a sensational folk dancer, becoming the pride of the country. Hearing her life journey deeply moved and stirred emotions in the captains and Super Judge Neha Kakkar.
An emotional Neha Kakkar shared, “First of all, after hearing Ma’am’s (Gulabo Sapera) story, we are all touched and want to applaud her for her efforts. This performance seemed relatable to Maam’s tale. When Pawandeep Rajan began singing, I took a step back and gave my whole attention to every word of this soulful rendition. You have a simple persona and an enduring voice, which is reflected in your performance. It’s a direct connection to the heart. God bless you. And Rajdeep, aap gaanein ko jeetein ho; it was a heartfelt performance”.
