Producer Ritesh Sidhwani and Director Gurmmeet Singh Host Special Mirzapur: The Movie Screening for Amruta Fadnavis and Supriya Sule!

Excel Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios’ Mirzapur: The Movie, starring Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, and Ali Fazal, has consolidated its place as one of the year’s defining cinematic events as it expands the hit digital franchise onto the big screen. Driven by Ritesh Sidhwani’s vision to deliver a larger-than-life theatrical experience, the movie has drawn strong audience interest across major circuits since its debut.

While Mirzapur: The Movie continues its successful theatrical run, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Gurmmeet Singh hosted a special screening of the film for respected Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Supriya Sule, Member of the Lok Sabha. The screening was attended by the film’s producer and director, along with actor Divyenndu, who was also present at the screening.

Moreover, Mirzapur : The Movie’s theatrical run has gained strong momentum, with audiences turning up in large numbers across markets. Its performance has also placed Mirzapur: The Movie among the biggest Hindi hits of 2026. With over ₹223 crore in worldwide gross, Mirzapur: The Movie has successfully transformed an established streaming phenomenon into a bona fide big-screen success.

Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: The Movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh, written by Puneet Krishna, and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Entertainment. The film is co-produced by Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani. Mirzapur: The Movie released in cinemas on 4 September 2026 in Hindi and Telugu.
