Sony Entertainment Television’s show ‘Punyashlok Ahilyabai’ has been showered with audience’s love for more reasons than one. The show celebrates the inspirational life of one of the finest female rulers of the Indian history – Queen Ahilyabai Holkar who with the help of her father-in-law, Malhar Rao Holkar, challenged stereotypes and changed the course of history. A young fan to join the bandwagon is none other than actor Snehalata Vasaikar’s daughter.
Actress Snehalata Vasaikar who essays the role of Gautamabai, Ahilya’s mother-in-law in the show, feels proud that her daughter enjoys the show and learns a lot as well. The actress addresses a lot of questions from her daughter and is only happy that the show has evoked the right sense of mind-set in her.
Sharing her thoughts, Snehalta Vasaikar said, “I am happy that my daughter has taken a liking towards the show and wants to know more about Ahilyabai. As a child what she rightly takes away is the importance to question and get the right answer. I have always encouraged her to be vocal about her views and I am happy the show is adding to her vigor.
