While shooting for Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Mimi’ Saie Tamhankar, who is a Marathi film industry’s superstar, got herself injured. What seemed like a small twist, was actually an ankle fracture. But Saie Tamhankar completed Mandava, Udaipur schedule with a plastered leg. That’s professionalism.Same professionalism saie displayed when in Mumbai.
Saie Tamhankar appears on a Marathi reality comedy show ‘Maharashtrachi Hasya Jatra’ as a celebrity judge, for which her friend Siddharth Jadhav was proxying for her due to her medical condition. Due to Covid 19 scare there won’t be any shootings post 19th March onwards. Actually as per doctor’s advice she was advised bed rest. The producers wanted to shoots maximum number of episodes so they have an episode-bank. Despite fractured leg Saie got readied to help the producers and daily wage workers on sets, Saie decided to shoot day-night. She never complained and has been shooting non stop, so that maximum work is canned before the film-industry-shoots-lockdown, which’ll take place at the midnight of 18th March ‘20.
