Sajid Nadiadwala Celebrates 75 years with a First Regional Film ‘Dhabkaaro’!

Carrying forward a remarkable 75-year legacy and marking a milestone year, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment steps into Gujarati cinema Dhabkaaro, set to release on 1st May.

#SajidNadiadwala is known for leaving a strong imprint across regional cinema as he has also written the Marathi film of Riteish Deshmukh starrer Lai Bhaari.

Dhabkaaro is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Abhishek Shah and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, the films marks the banner’s first venture into Gujarati cinema.

As part of the film’s promotions, Sajid Nadiadwala, along with director Abhishek Shah and lead cast Deven Bhojani and Aarjav Trivedi, visited Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

During their visit, they had the honour of meeting the Honourable Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel. The team unveiled the film’s new poster along with the special 75 years Gujarati logo of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment during the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, Sajid Nadiadwala said, _“My roots are deeply connected to Nadiad, and that has always been a big part of who I am. In many ways, this journey feels like it has come full circle. My grandfather, A.K. Nadiadwala, began his journey in cinema with a Gujarati film, Inspector, and today, as we are in our 75th year, presenting Dhabkaaro feels like a homecoming for us. It makes this moment even more special to have Honourable Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel ji unveil our Gujarati logo along with the film’s poster. I’m truly grateful for his support and for being part of this important milestone for us.”_

The film has already begun generating strong buzz, having received appreciation at its early screenings in Kenya, South Africa and Mumbai. The Mumbai screening, attended by Aamir Khan, Shefali Shah, and Ashutosh Gowariker, among others, received a very positive response, with the film being widely praised.

Dhabkaaro is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Harfanmaula Films, and The Moving Manch with Dipti Jindal as the associate producer. The film is written and directed by Abhishek Shah.

With Dhabkaaro, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment marks 75 years of its journey with its first regional film, releasing on 1st May.
