Reflecting on those formative years, he had once shared, “I wanted him to complete his education and then come back. Going to college every day, meeting boys, talking to so many people. That itself is an education. It doesn’t work directly. I was never against it.”

However, it was Salman Khan’s first appearance on screen that cemented his father’s belief in his star power. Recalling that moment, Salim Khan said, “When I saw his first film, I felt that he has 100% star qualities. He has got all the potential. So, I felt that he would become a star 100%.”
