Sarkaryavah of RSS Dattatreya Hosabale Attends Special Screening of ‘Aakhri Sawal’!
The gripping trailer of #AakhriSawal offered a glimpse into its intense storyline and historical references connected to the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh). Riding on the growing excitement, the film has now been released in theatres worldwide. Aakhri Sawal has emerged as one of the most-talked-about releases of 2026. The film, which recently hit theatres worldwide, continues to maintain solid buzz among audiences for its hard-hitting storytelling and serious thematic depth. Amidst this, the #RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh (RSS) General Secretary (Sarkaryavah), #DattatreyaHosabale, attended a special screening of Aakhri Sawal, a film known for its bold, intense, and politically charged narrative that draws on historical references linked to the RSS.
The film’s journey has also been marked by notable public and political attention. A grand premiere was held in Delhi, where Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was present and later shared her appreciation for the film on social media platform X. Aakhri Sawal was reportedly screened at Rashtrapati Bhavan in the presence of distinguished dignitaries.
The film was also banned in the UAE after the UAE censor board proposed multiple edits and cuts for its theatrical release, which the makers refused to accept, rejecting what they considered unreasonable demands and choosing to stand by the original version of the film. PILs have also been filed over the film’s content. Despite these developments, audiences continue to show strong interest in the film.
Featuring Sanjay Dutt, Amit Sadh, Sameera Reddy, Tridha Choudhury, Neetu Chandra, and Namashi Chakraborty, Aakhri Sawal is steadily drawing audiences with its strong performances and uncompromising narrative style.
Aakhri Sawal is directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogue are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The film was released in cinemas on 15th May, 2026.
