Talking about Satte pe Satta completing 40 years, Actor Shakti Kapoor said” Thinking of Satte pe Satta makes me feel like that was a different life, a different era when we shot that film. The movie was full of experiences that I will never forget. Even when I turn 90, I will have some special memories which I won’t forget and Satte pe Satta is one of them. Shooting for this movie was full of learning, fun and unforgettable experiences. From Amjad Khan to Mr. Bachchan to all the brothers and the girls, every character was full of energy and positivity.
“I watch Satte pe Satta whenever it comes on Television and watch it whenever I am sad as it is such a feel good movie. I watch it when I want to remember my younger days. The relationship that we shared as brothers in the film has never been seen on screen ever. It wasn’t a comedy film but the laughter came in due to the genuinity of the film, the performances, a good script and a team that was passionate to make this film”
Speaking about his character “Initially, my character was not supposed to be of a guy with a speech disorder. I even shot my first scene normally but later realized that some variation could add more spark to my character. I convinced my director to change that element and he was so happy with the way I played the character. We went ahead with my idea and reshot the entire scene”
