After giving us hits like ‘3Idiots’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Ferrari Ki Sawaari’ and many others actor Sharman Joshi is set to entertain us with his new comedy film ‘Babloo Bachelor’, trailer of which was unveiled recently. Along side Sharman, present were Pooja Chopra, Sweety Walia, Producer Ajay Rajmani, director Agnidev Chatterjee and other cast and crew.
Babloo bachelor is a comedy genre film, in which Sharman Joshi is playing the protagonist. The story of the film is based in UP, where a well-to-do family had always dreamt of their son’s wedding with great pomp and show. Babloo’s (Sharman Joshi) father (Rajesh Sharma) who is a landlord wants his son to get married Under any circumstances. But Babloo is reluctant to marry but due to family pressure decides to meet prospective brides. He rejects all of them. Then out of the blue two girls, one is a channel head in Mumbai and other one is an aspiring actress (Pooja Chopra and Tejaswini Pandit), come to the fore and he oscillates between them. What happened next is the crux of the story. Who Babloo will marry now?
Under the banner of Rafat films, Babloo Bachelor is produced by Ajay Rajwani and directed by Agnidev Chatterjee. Story, Screenplay and Dialogue are by Saurabh Pandey and Music is composed Jeet Ganguli. Lyrics are penned by Kumar, Rashmi Virag and Ashish Pandey while Arjit Singh and Pappon have lent voice. Director Agnidev Chatterjee is also the cinematographer of the film and it’s been edited by Parth Y Bhatt. Sharman Joshi, Tejasree Pradhan, Pooja Chopra, Rajesh Sharma, Leena Prabhu, Aakash Dabhade and Neeraj Khetripal play pivotal roles.
The shooting of the film is complete and it’ll be released through Jaiviratra Entertainment Limited all across India on 20 March 2020.
