The teaser of the large-screen fantasy folklore spectacle The Vvaan has created a storm ever since its release. Bringing together Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia as a dreamy fresh pair in a fantasy folklore world never seen before, The Vvaan teaser has garnered over 55 million views and is trending at #1 on YouTube across all languages.

Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures, the teaser showcases a world rooted in mystery, ancient beliefs, and the supernatural, powered by a riveting musical backdrop of Aigiri Nandini and the protective presence of the Van Devi. In addition, the cinematic presentation of Chhath Puja on the large screen has struck a deep chord with audiences, adding cultural weight to the film’s traditional backdrop.

The upcoming film takes on fantasy folklore on a scale rarely seen in Indian commercial cinema, creating an immersive experience crafted specifically for the big screen. Backed by some of the country’s most distinctive storytellers, The Vvaan brings together TVF’s Arunabh Kumar, director Deepak Mishra, and Ektaa R. Kapoor for a commercial film that attempts to take Indian folklore into a dynamic new space. Written by Arunabh Kumar and directed by Deepak Mishra, with Manu Anand as DOP and Visual Director, the film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R. Kapoor, Arunabh Kumar, and Niraj Kothari.
