Actress Sonali Khare appeared in the TV series ‘Bay Dune Daha’ in 2014. She then acted in movies like ‘7, Roshan Villa’, ‘Hridayantar’. Sonali is returning to the television world around Dushhera this year. She will be seen in the role of host in the cooking show ‘Aaj Kay Special’ on Colors Marathi.
Speaking about her comeback, Sonali Khare says, “I am happy to be back in my favourite field, i.e. television, once again. Cooking is not new to any housewife and I have always loved baking. But in Lockdown I learned a lot of new recipes. So it was as if the show had been a colorful rehearsal. It’s a great pleasure to be able to share the screen with some of my former co-stars through this show.’ Sonali had earlier hosted television shows like ‘College Majhi Jaan’, ‘Gamantgarh’, ‘Amhi Saare Khawaiye’.
Explaining the specialty of this show, Sonali says, “In other cooking shows, only the guests who come show the recipes. But here I am also going to make some food. I will also share some tips and kitchen tips learned through yoga. My cooking chats are going to be colorful with the guests who come on the show. There will also be some food-related games. Which the audience will surely find interesting.”
Regarding the experience of shooting in ‘New Normal’, Sonali says, “No one likes to wear a mask all the time. So while wearing a mask always is tiring sometimes. But I think it’s important for your safety. Hygiene is the first step in making a delicious meal. So the atmosphere on the set is the same the way I like, Hygienic.”
