Sophie Choudry Takes a Strong Stand Against Severe Animal Cruelty, Demands Strict Action for ‘Hope’
Singer and actress Sophie Choudry has once again leveraged her social media influence to champion a cause beyond the entertainment industry. Reaching out through her Instagram Stories, she strongly condemned a horrific incident of alleged abuse involving a pregnant stray dog named “Hope,” calling on law enforcement to hold the perpetrator accountable.
Sharing an appeal from the animal rescue organisation World For All Animal Adoptions, Sophie highlighted the horrifying incident in which the pregnant dog was allegedly assaulted sexually. In an emotional message, she wrote, “This man raped a pregnant dog. He admitted it before running away when an eyewitness caught him. How frikkin sick do you have to be to do this? Is this not the worst crime??? Let’s find him and get him the worst punishment possible!!!”
Sophie also shared a heartbreaking update on Hope’s condition. According to the rescue organisation, Hope was carrying unborn puppies when she was rescued and later gave birth to two premature puppies while undergoing treatment. Tragically, the only surviving puppy from the original incident did not survive. Despite the unimaginable trauma, Hope is slowly beginning to trust the people caring for her.
The update further revealed that, following persistent efforts by animal welfare volunteers and supporters, an FIR has finally been registered in the case. Sophie thanked everyone who had donated, amplified Hope’s story, and supported the rescue mission, while reiterating the need for justice.
