If we are to talk about #HindiCinema in the 80’s, it was best defined by its flamboyant and boisterous action heroes. Not only did they charm with stupendous action sequences and dialogue delivery, they literally had the power to send an entire theatre into frenzy. Over the years, #Bollywood has given us a plethora of such leading men who, through their fist fights and mighty punches, have steered into our hearts forever. This month, #SonyMAX2 brings to you a handful of such heroes in #AmitabhBachchan, #Dharmendra, #SunnyDeol and #SanjayDutt as the channel revisits some of their best adrenaline-filled performances.

Muqabla : Reflecting on the evergreen good versus evil narrative, Muqabla traverses the story of two brothers Suraj, a police officer and Deepak, a traffic constable. Walking down opposing paths in life, the three brothers reunite in the most peculiar situation in a courtroom. Salaakhen : It’s Sunny Deol vs Justice in Salaakhen! The movie dwells on the life of Vishal Agnihotri (Sunny Deol) whose father meets a horrifying fate after testifying against a corrupt politician’s son. Out of despair and agony, Vishal takes the law in his hands to serve justice and avenge his father’s death. Will he get a fair trial or become a prey to the flawed system?
