Team ‘Aakhri Sawal’ Invites Indian Sign Language Children For Trailer Launch!

#SanjayDutt starrer Aakhri Sawal has emerged as one of the most anticipated films, with audiences eagerly looking forward to its release. After creating massive buzz with its announcement, the makers unveiled the teaser on the occasion of Hanuman Ji Janmotsav, offering a never-seen-before glimpse into the history of the world’s largest voluntary organization, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. While the film stands out for its clutter-breaking subject, it also marks a unique milestone by becoming the first Hindi feature film to be made accessible in Indian Sign Language.

Aakhri Sawal is set to become the first Hindi film to incorporate integrated Indian Sign Language (ISL), alongside features designed to make it more accessible for visually impaired audiences.

At the trailer launch, deaf and mute children were specially invited, an initiative personally envisioned by Sanjay Dutt and producer Nikhil Nanda. The children were called on stage along with a sign language interpreter, who helped them understand and experience the event.

This thoughtful step was taken to ensure that the film’s message reaches as many people as possible. Aakhri Sawal raises hard-hitting and bold questions that many people are still unaware of, and the makers wanted everyone, whether hearing or deaf and mute, to equally understand and connect with the information and conversations the film aims to bring forward.

Aakhri Sawal is directed by National Award–winning filmmaker Abhijeet Mohan Warang. *Presented by Nikhil Nanda, the film is produced by Nikhil Nanda and Sanjay Dutt*, and co-produced by Puneet Nanda, Dr. Deepak Singh, Gaurav Dubey, and Ujjwal Anand. The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Utkarsh Naithani. The film is set to release in cinemas on 15th May 2026.
