Team ‘Nayyi Navelli’ Celebrates Dussehra in Ayodhya Ahead of October 16 Release; Advance Bookings Open!

Set against the scenic banks of Ram Ki Paidi in Ayodhya, the cast and crew of Nayyi Navelli ushered in the Dussehra festivities with a grand gathering of music, faith, and traditional fanfare. Lead actors Yami Gautam Dhar, Addinath Kothare, and Anurag Thakur, together with director Balaji Mohan and music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar, joined the local community for an evocative evening that included a live Ramleela performance, chanting by Vedic pandits, and a mesmerizing Deep Daan ceremony across the illuminated ghats. Highlighting the devotional tone of the visit, Yami Gautam Dhar personally performed the aarti to seek blessings for the film’s upcoming release.

In a special musical offering to the people of Ayodhya, Sadhu Tiwari presented a soulful rendition of ‘Awadhiya Ke Raja’, originally sung by Shreya Ghoshal for the film. The performance added a memorable highlight to the celebrations, bringing together the spirit of devotion and the film’s music in the lead-up to Dussehra.

An India-inspired fantasy family entertainer that brings together humour, larger-than-life imagination and the triumph of good over evil, Nayyi Navelli stars Yami Gautam Dhar and is produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma under Amazon MGM Studios and Colour Yellow. Directed by Balaji Mohan, the film is set to release in cinemas on Friday, 16 October 2026, ahead of Dussehra. Advance bookings are now open, inviting audiences to experience Mohini’s extraordinary world on the big screen this festive season.
