‘The India Story’ Starring Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade, Releases July 24!

After releasing a striking, hard-hitting poster, the team behind The India Story has revealed that the film’s teaser will be arriving soon. Headlined by #KajalAggarwal and #ShreyasTalpade, the socio-national drama is already generating interest for its powerful premise and evocative visuals. Presented by Zee Studios in association with MIG Production & Studios, the movie is slated to hit theatres on July 24, 2026.

Directed by Chettan DK and written and produced by Sagar B Shinde, The India Story: Slow Poison in Progress examines the dangerous fallout from chemical misuse—especially pesticide practices—and the resulting threats to public health. The new poster hints at the unsettling but crucial issues the film seeks to expose.
Rather than focusing solely on a single family, the film broadens its scope to portray a nationwide crisis that touches innumerable lives. It aims to raise awareness about industrial negligence and the need for accountability.

The makers say the upcoming teaser will give viewers a closer look at the film’s uncompromising world, building anticipation for its socially relevant storyline. Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade, who share the screen for the first time, are expected to lend emotional intensity and depth to the narrative.
Co-produced by Sumit Bagade, Anita Jadhav, Vinayak Saidani, Kalpesh Shah, Devyani Khorate, and Prem Joshi, and supported by DOP Nishant Bhagwat, composer Mangesh Dhakde, editor Ashish Mhatre, lyricist Shakeel Azami, and sound designer Anmol Bhave, the film will release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
