Tribute to Veteran Actor Mohan Joshi on the Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra Stage!

Sony Marathi’s beloved comedy show Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra always keeps audiences laughing, and it also preserves the tradition of honoring senior and distinguished artists from the entertainment world. In an upcoming episode, the full team of the film #DeoolBand2 will appear on the Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra stage to promote their movie.

In this special episode, veteran actor Mohan Joshi—whose powerful performances have left an indelible mark on Marathi cinema and television—was felicitated by Sony Marathi and Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra. Now in his eighties, Mohan Joshi remains active in acting, and his memorable roles continue to resonate with viewers.

Whenever senior industry veterans join Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra, the show maintains its custom of honoring them. As part of that tradition, producer-director Sachin Goswami presented a special tribute to Mohan Joshi on behalf of Sony Marathi and Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra. The entire Hasyajatra team and all performers were present on stage and paid their respects with a ceremonial salute.
