Varun Dhawan’s ‘Main Tera Hero’ Re-Releases to Housefull Shows

Balaji Motion Pictures, one of the leading production houses in Indian cinema, has brought back one of its most loved entertainers to the big screen. Main Tera Hero, starring Varun Dhawan, #IleanaDCruz, and #NargisFakhri in the lead roles, originally released 12 years ago and won audiences over with its fun-filled storyline, energetic performances, and complete entertainment package. Helmed by acclaimed filmmaker David Dhawan, the film became a fan favorite for its comedy, romance, and laughter-packed moments.

Marking its 12-year celebration, the makers re-released the film on May 22, and the response has once again been overwhelming. Even after more than a decade, Main Tera Hero has opened to housefull shows across cities, proving that its charm, entertainment value, and the effect it still has on people.

Main Tera Hero also starred Evelyn Sharma, Rajpal Yadav, Anupam Kher, and others. The film follows the story of a mischievous and energetic college boy whose life takes a chaotic turn after he falls in love. His journey becomes increasingly complicated as he finds himself caught between a powerful police officer and the daughter of an influential underworld figure, leading to a series of hilarious and entertaining situations.

Meanwhile, following the massive success of Bhooth Bangla, Balaji Motion Pictures is now gearing up for its next big project, VVAN. Produced by Balaji Telefilms Ltd in association with TVF Motion Pictures, the film is directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Arunabh Kumar, with a story penned by Arunabh Kumar. VVAN is set for a grand theatrical release on August 28, 2026.
