Mesmerizing audiences with spectacular performances, #SonyEntertainmentTelevision’s #IndianIdolSeason14 is all set to host the actors of #SamBahadur – #VickyKaushal, #SanyaMalhotra, and #FatimaSanaShaikh in its ‘#DilBoleIndia’ special. This Saturday, the contestants will raise the bar and create an environment of patriotism as they dedicate their acts to the valiant warriors who protect and serve the nation. But it was Marathi Mulga Utkarsh Wankhede, who left everyone emotional with his outstanding performance of the song, Vande Mataram.

Utkarsh revealed that he would like to dedicate this song to Raphael Sarki, who used to serve in the army. Raphael also taught Utkarsh to play the guitar and it was the first instrument that Utkarsh learnt to play. Raphael Sarki belongs from Darjeeling and in a candid chat with host Hussain Kuwajerwala, he revealed that he has been interested in music since he was in 4th standard, and he used to play in choir groups. On joining the army, many of his officers motivated him and said that he could make the nation proud through his talent as well. Raphael also shed light on how life in the army is tough, but music is a medicine that helps them, boosting their spirits and keeping them motivated through their journey.

Judge Shreya empathized with Raphael, saying, “We have the greatest regard for the Indian Armed Forces, which serve the country 24/7, and we feel secure and protected because of them.”

Actor Vicky Kaushal also shared his feelings, saying, “Your voice resonated strongly with us, creating a joyful and enjoyable atmosphere. The song itself is one in a million, and it seems your voice is just as unique. I sincerely hope that someday, a moment will come when you lend your voice to a Hindi feature film, and I hope I will be fortunate enough to be the face to your voice.”

Furthermore, Vicky Kaushal invited Shreya Ghoshal on stage and together, they danced to ‘Tu Hai Toh Mujhe Phir Aur Kya Chahiye’, that Utkarsh beautifully sang for them.
