At the just mention of Bhoot, our daredevil hero Vicky Kaushal gets scared. He has admitted in his interactions that he’s extremely scared of ghosts. He does watch horror films but prefers to watch it in a company of his friends. He detests watching them alone. When he was offered Dharma Praduction’s Bhoot The Haunted Ship, he signed it to overcome his fears. He did like the script and wanted to have a different experience through it. Shooting a horror film is different than watching one, he categorically admits. Shooting is too technical and one knows what’s coming next in advance but it’s not the case while watching a horror movie as sudden jolts startle you. He’s happy that he’s part of a horror movie Bhoot The Haunted Ship.

Before the start of the shoot of this movie, Vicky used to be very scared of deep waters. He was supposed to shoot underwater for longer hours. Since he was scared of deep waters, he couldn’t shoot underwater scenes as required in the script. He decided to overcome his fear and with the help of swimming and snorkeling experts he trained himself to stay underwater. This helped him get over fear-factor. Later he used to stay underwater even after the shot was okayed.

Promotions of the film are going on with a lot of fervour. Vicky who used to be scared of ghosts, went to Delhi’s famous haunted place “Bhuli Bhatiyari Ka Mahal” with his director Bhanu Pratap Singh. Bhuli Bhatiyari’s palace has been considered haunted for a long time and by visiting it Vicky and Director Sahib have shown great courage and guts. This shows Vicky’s loyalty to work and professionalism.

Presented by Zee Studios in collaboration with Dharma Productions, written and directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan, the film will release on 21 February 2020.
