Gokhale’s last film ‘Sur Lagu De’ has been directed by Praveen Vijaya Eknath Birje. Now the movie ‘Sur Lagu De’ is releasing through Pickle Entertainment Studios in Maharashtra. Actor Vikram Gokhale’s birthday was on October 30. On the occasion of this day, the new poster of ‘Sur Lagu De’ was unveiled by actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and Padmashri Manoj Joshi in the presence of Vikram Gokhale’s wife Vrushali Vikram Gokhale at MIG Club in Bandra. The event was attended by Anil Kalelkar, Manoj Pakhade, film producers, directors, technicians, actors and dignitaries from the film industry. On this occasion, reminiscing the memories of Vikram Gokhale, some gave information about the last work done by him, while some got choked while reminiscing about the moments spent with him. Presenter Ratish Tawde said that the film will be brought to the audience with the intention of bringing a quality masterpiece like ‘Sur Lagu De’ starring Vikram Gokhale far and wide. Director Praveen Birje hoped that the juxtaposition of national award-winning veteran actors Suhasini Mulye and Vikram Gokhale, who came together for the first time for this film, will enthrall the audience. He also said that the audience will get to see a perfect piece of art in the form of ‘Sur Lagu De’.
Dedicated to Vikram Gokhale, this film has been written by Ashish Dev and music composed by music composer Pankaj Padghan. Along with the series, there is a surprise package featuring Reena Madhukar, who has appeared in Marathi films, and Meghna Naidu of ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman…’ fame. They are joined by Ashish Newalkar, Jayraj Nair, Sunil Godbole, Siddheshwar Zadbukke, Nitin Jadhav, Asha Nyate, Meru Vernekar, Anuradha More, Shekhar Shukla, Sandeep Gaikwad, Hitendra Upasani, Pradeep Patwardhan, Aslam Wadkar, Somnath Talwalkar, Sunil Jadhav, Deepika Golipkar, Alka Parab, Atul Ganorkar, Dilip Karade, Sandeep Jayagade, Amogh Chavan, Audumbar Babar are also playing roles.
The film ‘Sur Lagu De’ will hit the screens on 12th January 2024.
