Zee TV’s popular singing reality show, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs has won the hearts of the audiences yet again post the lockdown. While the supremely talented contestants have left no stone unturned to entertain the judges and the viewers with their phenomenal performances, the special visits by celebrity guests on the show have truly been like a cherry on the cake. After welcoming the Kakkar siblings and the legendary composer Sajid Khan last week, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is all set to welcome another guest who is popularly known as ‘Chi Chi Bhaiya’ by many. With one of the finest entertainers of the Indian Film Industry in the house, the upcoming episode will see the contestants performing to some of Govinda’s most popular tracks along with other iconic music pieces as a part of the ‘Comedy Special’ episode of the show.
Grinning from ear to ear while delightedly grooving to each performance, Govinda seemed to enjoy himself as each contestant brought a slightly new twist to the songs they were performing. Be it Ranita Banerjee’s jaw dropping rendition of Kishore Kumar’s iconic track, ‘Ek Chatur Naar’ or Saksham and Saee’s adorable and funny duet to Govinda’s popular songs, the contestants truly left the actor amazed with their sheer talent. However, that was not it! Maniesh Paul gave the actor several hilarious moments to remember. He decided to quiz Govinda on some of his heroines. When asked to reveal his favourite amongst Raveena Tandon, Juhi Chawla, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, Govinda happened to disclose a very close and earnest wish. “I have done more than half a dozen films with each of the actresses except Madhuri ji. Infact, I had never expected to do so many films with Raveena, but we happened to work and support each other as actors really well. I really wish I had a chance to do the same number of films with Madhuri ji as well!” expressed Govinda.
Talking further about how each of his heroines have been a strong pillar behind his flourishing career, Govinda added, “I consider myself really lucky because it’s the striking chemistry with each of my actresses that has been loved by one and all, apart from my songs. Unlike today, I worked with a generation of producers and directors who were growing at par with me and while they have played a major part, the actresses of my films have had a pivotal role to play in my career. They have been extremely nice with me despite my irregular delays on the set as I was doing numerous films together. My heroines have been lucky for me and I am very thankful to them.”
The upcoming episode will see the supremely talented Li’l Champs taking the level of entertainment a notch higher by not just crooning to some iconic music pieces but also mimicking the humorous dialogues that follow it. While Gurkeerat and Somya’s splendid rendition to the song ‘Emotional Atyachar’ is set to get everyone dancing, Tanishka and Ananya performance to the song ‘Aye Meri Zohrajabeen’ for sure will leave the judges stunned and awed at the young champ’s talent. All in all, the upcoming Comedy Special episode with Govinda will have a lot of melodies, memories and surprises for the viewers.
