The movie starts in a small village in Vidarbha. Sonu (Anya Pathak), who is very smart in studies, has to face many difficulties to educate himself in school. Her father Ram (Sharad Jadhav) is in dire straits. Heavy rains destroy the entire crop in the field. The moneylender asks Ram to repay all the loans within 48 hours. There is no compensation from the government too. The whole family is in trouble. Sonu decides to help her father to overcome all these circumstances. But Rama makes an unexpected decision to overcome these difficulties.
