The 75th edition of the global pageant is taking place in Vietnam, culminating with the Grand Finale on September 5. India’s hopes rest on Femina Miss India 2024 winner Nikita Porwal, who is competing on the international stage.
Who is Nikita Porwal, India’s representative at Miss World 2026?
Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, Nikita gained national prominence after winning the Miss India crown in 2024. Starting her career as a television anchor before transitioning to theatre, she traveled to Vietnam earlier this month to prepare for the prestigious event.
Speaking about representing the nation, Nikita said, “Namaste India, I am Nikita Porwal, your Femina Miss India World and I am representing India in the Vietnam Miss World Festival. I hope that you will support me in the Grand Finale on 5th September and watch me live on JioHotstar.”
