A lot of #Marathifilm are screened at various International film festivals and helps promote Indian culture across the world. Also a few trade fairs conducted in foreign countries help to spread awareness about our country’s rich heritage. Now a glimpse of Maharashtra’s culture will be available at ‘#ITBBerlin’ festival. Like every year, this year also a grand programme was organised by ‘ITB Berlin 2023’ in Germany. The state tourism department participated in the prestigious ‘ITB Berlin’ trade fair to promote the tourism industry of Maharashtra globally. Around 161 countries and more than 10,000 exhibitors participated in the ‘ITB Berlin’ trade fair this year. There, the characteristics of Maharashtra with its glorious culture, rich history, blue beaches were presented to everyone.

This year the ‘Maharashtra Tourism Stall’ of ITB Berlin ‘MTDC’ remained the focal point of the entire ITB. A special cultural programme was also organised to experience the culture of Maharashtra. Lavani, a traditional dance form of Maharashtra, became the special attraction of the event. Actress Karisma Vable, also known as Lavni empress, enthralled the audience with her flamboyant Lavani performance. This event is organised by the director of Starcraft Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Mr Santosh Mizgar. Bollywood Park, Veena World, Swadesh Travels, Captain Nilesh Gaikwad, Deccan Odyssey, Govardhan Eco Village participated as co-exhibitors at this event.
