Eeffronn Entertainment headed by Kushal and Anirudh Singh are entering into Marathi Cinema with the film titled Phurrr. Phurrr a content driven cinema by Sameer Asha Patil, who grabbed the attention of Marathi film industry and the audiences with his film Chaurya. Eeffronn Entertainment has produced many acclaimed short films which were appreciated in various short film festivals because of its content. They are also producing a Punjabi feature film. Going by their philosophy of presenting thought provoking content, they decided to enter into Marathi cinema, as Marathi audiences appreciate content driven powerful stories. Kushal says, “Entertainment has two genres, one is pure entertainment and the other is thought provoking entertainment which makes the audiences to think.” While contemplating their first venture, they were searching for a director who has his own unique, creative and entertaining style of presentation on screen. Accordingly they met Sameer. During the narration it was felt that the story of Phurrr was not a regular ‘run of the mill’ type. It had vast shades of emotions with tinge of comedy which everyone comes across in their day to day life. It will certainly make audiences of all ages connect and identify themselves with the film. With Sameer this is going to be a entertaining film with slice of life or shall we say it is going to be ‘celebration of life’. The story is written by Mehul Agaja. Sameer has a good grasp and vision which he proved already and hence we thought of debuting into Marathi feature film with Sameer,whose fourth Marathi film is this. The film will be on floors soon”.
