There had been a lot of talk around #Euthanasia. Patients suffering from incurable diseases and old people who have lost interest in living have been banging the doors of Indian judiciary for permission to end their lives. But there hasn’t been any decision on that.

Directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, the film ‘Aata Vel Jali’ underlines the imortance of Euthanasia. The film is produced in association with Imagine Entertainment and Media, Ananth Narayan Mahadevan Films by producers Dinesh Bansal, G. K. Aggarwal and Anant Mahadevan. Dilip Prabhavalkar and Rohini Hattangadi are playing the lead roles.

Since the film discusses the sensitive topic of Euthanasia there has been a lot of discussion around it. Even Bollywood celebrities are part of it. Hema Malini highlighted the importance of this film through a video and wished Anant Mahadevan, Dilip Prabhavalkar, Rohini Hattangadi best luck. Nana Patekar, Suchitra Pillai, director Abbas Mustan, Suhasini Mulye, Adil Hussain, Tanishtha Chatterjee have also wished the film and appealed viewers to watch the film. Many other actors also have sent best wishes.
